Educational Tours

Goebel Farms has been providing educational (farm) tours since 2002. We are pleased to continue offering this service to the teachers and educators of the tri-state area. Below you will find a brief explanation of what our tour consists of.

Rules:

Upon arrival your kids will learn the basic “do’s and don’ts” while on the tour to ensure your child’s safety as well as for his/her maximum enjoyment.

Petting Zoo:

We have a petting zoo with goats, llamas, and a pony named pumpkin!

Hayride:

Now it’s time to take a hayride to the pumpkin patch. Your kids will enjoy riding on a trailer with straw bales as seats to the pumpkin patch. Once at the patch your group will learn all about the life of a pumpkin!

Corn Maze:

Prince Harry & Meghan

After learning about pumpkins your group will be taken to the Corn Maze.

Here they will learn what a mature corn plant looks like and can have some fun while trying to find their way out of the maze! We have a larger maze as well as a smaller maze. Due to time restraints your group will walk through the smaller maze. Because most of our tour-goers are under age 10 we have made it very easy to get in and out.

Christmas Trees:

While on the Hayride tour your group will stop near some of our growing Christmas trees and learn how they are grown from seedlings to a full size trees. They will also learn about some of the positive environmental impacts every acre of trees have on the earth.

Free Gift:

As something they can take with them, each child will receive a free gift!

Lunch:

Some groups choose to bring their lunch and have a picnic before they leave. We have 10 picnic tables and a couple of wooden benches to sit on. If you would like to have lunch while at the farm just ask about it while reserving your date and time. (Please be prepared to take your garbage in sacks with you.)
